What Will You Be Famous For?

Do you want more attention? Not just for you business, but from people in general? I think deep down most of us really want a little extra attention; maybe from the opposite sex, or from our friends, or whatever.

Attention is part of the reason why we buy nice clothes or buy a nice car. In fact, I remember when I bought my Lexus SC430 convertible. I started getting a lot of attention. People looking at me in my car with the top down. Lots of comments "nice car", etc.

It was actually kind of weird and uncomfortable. I worried that people would think I was egotistical, etc. I've had my car for 4 years now and I don't even notice anyone looking at me or my car anymore (unless someone says "nice car").

On the other hand...

Everytime I attend a seminar these days, people find me and tell me how they are getting more clients or how they love my trainings. Even if it's a seminar that I'm not speaking at. Even seminars that are outside of my niche!

That kind of attention is a whole different thing. It's a lot more rewarding. It creates a sense of gratitude and pride. In fact...

When I was a kid growing up in school, I was practically invisible (except when I was getting bullied or picked on). I remember when I heard that 2 people where talking about me when I wasn't around - I was shocked that people actually talked... about me. It was weird.

But now, this sort of thing seems to happen a lot and I'm in awe of how things that I do actually affect other people out there in the world. It's kind of a high.

I think you want this too.

What will you be famous for? You car? Or how much you help?

  3. I plan to help others live the life they want. The life they think about in the middle of the day, the "what if life...." the "only if I had... I could do...." that's the life I want to help people create. I want new clients in the next 4 weeks, and in the next 90 days I want to be moving into a new home of my choice with my 2 dogs and teenager, and in next 12 months I want us to take a fun vacation on a boat.

  4. My goal is to help others take back control of their lives and emotions.Becoming a Holistic Life Coach and starting my own business
has been such an amazing enlightening journey for me and I can't wait to help others take their own journney and meet their goals. In 4 weeks I would like both of my Emotional Freedom classes filled, and 3-4 coaching clients. In 90 days i will have a third class lined up and 5-6 clients. With in a year, I plan to leave my part-time job and be per diem for the company and begin looking for my own space to see clients and teach classes. And add on to my house!!! :)

  5. I will be remembered for helping people give up their J.O.B. (Journey of the Broke). I will be known for helping people find their passion, learn to make a living at it and never have to work another day of their lives.

In 30 days I would love to have 3-5new clients, in a month generate enough income to leave my JOB and within my first year have a radio program with testimonials of clients who have found their passion.

  6. To me, being famous, means that if I died tomorrow, it would make the evening news on TV. I have no desire for that kind of famous. But if I did die tomorrow, I'd like to think there would be a lot of people getting together to share their memories of me, the chief of which would be how something I said or did made a fundamental difference to them, changed their life. And it wouldn't hurt if a majority of those sharing memories were hot chicks crying their eyes out over "how great a guy I was". Ha!

  7. I want people to know me for the person that make it easy for them to reach their great goals.

I want to be the one the Olympic top swimmer refer to as the one who gave him the focus to get all the way and enjoy his life at the same time.

  10. My goal is to create abundance to share. In practice this means: 3-4 clients to sign up over the next 4 weeks. 1 Team coaching customer to sign up in 8 weeks, solid income starting to come in from coaching in 90 days. Financial independence from other work (=non-coaching)in 12 months and after that ability to set up first project(s) in Africa or South East Asia to get their own coaching training started to train locals to train more locals.

  11. My workshop is focused on providing resources, understanding of what it is like to have vision challenges, tips to organize the home is rewarding goal. Having people attend and truly mean it when they say thank you.

My husband forgets that I have a field of vision problem. I will ask if he wants coffee and he barks "Didn't you see me getting my coffee? I tell him it is enough that I make sure what my chores are and sorry to care about him. Other family members may do the same thing.

Showing patience for our out limitations and for others who don't understand those limiations is common. Have someone come up and say thank you for my workshop would be gratifying. Shopping for healthcare products they didn't know existed is another. Again, to simplify someones life and being told thank you is what I would like to be reminded of.

  13. I hope I will be famous for raising children that are caring, kind, and compassionate and that people will miss my support in helping them to define balance and success on their own terms. I would also like to be famous for the legacy of prosperity and philanthropy that I left for my children.

  15. (Please note: I’m going to state why I’m famous in the present because I practice NLP and for me, it’s an effective way of achieving my goals.)

In the Pacific Northwest “My Job Interview Coach” franchises are famous because we have helped thousands of professionals achieve interview results that get job offers. Our clients know what to expect, know how to answer traditional and behavioral job interview style questions and have the confidence to perform during the interview. In short, they know what to say and how to say it so not only do they receive offers from one employer but position themselves to receive multiple job offers, even in a down economy.

  17. Hi,

I plan to be famous for helping people free themselves from the work with and create the life they've only dreamed of.

I plan to help them let go of all that's holding them back and return to the spirit of who they truly are.

    Thanks Christian

  19. The French have a saying "bien dans sa peau" which literally means feeling good in one's skin, or being true to yourself. I know how hard this can be, from experience - life is full of "oughts" and "shoulds". Being "bien dans sa peau" means having self belief, shining in our best light (aligning our strengths with our unrelenting passions). The best thing with meeting this need is - everyone benefits! The more we live life in a positive and constructive manner, the better the world is. It's not about "whats wrong with the world" but "whats right with the world!!"
